Mental Health Exhibition – 2024

TYCL has planned to observe World Mental Health Day 2024 with a “Mental Health Exhibition”. This exhibition aims to offer comprehensive awareness about mental health and showcasing young professionals’ innovations in mental health interventions and support tools and techniques that impact mental well-being. For the first time in Puducherry, there will be a focused spotlight on the social determinants of suicide and mental health, which have often been overshadowed by biological and psychological aspects.

The main objectives of the Mental Health Exhibition 2024 are to raise awareness and initiate discussions about mental health issues and suicide prevention among youth and the general public. The event aims to address the psychological and social factors that contribute to mental health, highlighting strategies to mitigate their effects. Additionally, the exhibition will provide information on available resources through intervention strategies and facilitate connections between the community and mental health service providers. By bringing these critical topics to the forefront, the exhibition seeks to create a more informed and supportive community

The event provides the opportunity to convene stakeholders from across Tamilnadu, Kerala, and Puducherry, building a platform for practitioners, and students to share innovative and evidence-based approaches to suicide prevention, with a focus on interventions, and strategies tailored to the needs of the region.
